The SteelSeries Rival 3 is 1.5” tall, 2.3”-2.65” wide, and 4.75” long. It’s pretty perfect. Amazingly accurate. Genuinely accurate, it doesn’t just feel accurate, like the others. Completely natural finger placement on the flat sides, thumb on the left flat, ring and pinkie on the right, and the pinkie isn’t left dangling, it has a nice flat rest.
The whole mouse is a little too planar, though. You’re definitely pressing down, not inward. It certainly fills the hand nicely. If it was a bit curvier, I’d really like this mouse. Its flatness is really my only complaint.
Not on the sides, the flatness there is great, everyone should do that. But the flatness over top. It’s also a little too long. But, the scroll wheel has really great ridges, and really great action.
It’s a double (or single!) AAA mouse, so it’s very light, not like a AA mouse.
Altogether I really like this mouse. If it was a little curvier it would be perfect. That’s why I recently bought the SteelSeries Prime Mini, we’ll see if that’s the perfect one. This one, the Rival 3, is only $50 on Amazon.
